Florida rapper Kodak Black‘s attorney is really putting in some work. New reports claim the jailed hip-hop artist’s legal muscle is ready to get to the bottom of what really landed his client behind bars on multiple criminal charges.
According to KB’s lawyer, there is suspicion on the method and reason a gang task force busted into his home.
Sources tell us Kodak’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, has some tough questions he wants answered … why was there no body cam footage of last week’s arrest for grand theft of firearms, neglect of a child and weed possession? Cohen also wants to know why a gang task force effected the arrest. Cohen filed legal docs setting the gears in motion to take depositions of 3 officers involved in the arrest to determine if it was kosher. (TMZ)
A few days ago, reports claimed his lawyer also wanted investigators to dust for fingerprints.
We’re told his attorney, Bradford Cohen, asked the judge for the investigating officers to dust all evidence for fingerprints because he’s alleging some of the items found in the house do not belong to him. The judge has not yet ruled on his request, but he will remain behind bars until his next hearing on February 23. (The Blast)
Earlier this month, details emerged about why Black had a run-in with cops.
Records show the 20-year-old rapper is facing charges of grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, child neglect, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon and two counts of probation violation. Octave, who has 5 million followers on Instagram and regularly shares videos and pictures of his son, was being held at the Broward County Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale Friday. (Local 10 News)
A few nights ago, footage emerged from Kodak Black’s Instagram Live stream during the police raid.
