Florida rapper Kodak Black has come forward to speak out on his preference in women. The Southern hip-hop artist has made a public service announcement about liking light-skinned girls over dark-skinned beauties.

Black went to Instagram Monday (June 26) with his dicey comments.

This past weekend, KB sparked some attention after saying he isn’t a fan of women like actress/singer Keke Palmer.

Recently, buzz developed about Kodak wanting to switch up his real name.

It’s not clear why Kodak chose the name or what its significance is. It also isn’t clear if Kodak’s son, King Khalid, 2, will have this new last name as a result of the change. We’ve reached out Kodak’s lawyer for comment. A judge has yet to rule on the name change. (Bossip)

Last week, reports surfaced about Black catching a break on his house arrest regulations.

A judge granted his request to work with performers who have records — which would normally be a major no-no for someone in Kodak’s situation. In the order, obtained by TMZ, the judge makes it clear the exception is only for work. Also, he’s cool to hang out with family members who might have records. (TMZ)
