Rap newcomer Kodak Black wants fans to know his bars hold weight. The hip-hop rookie has compared his lyrics and messages to music mogul JAY-Z‘s “Money, Cash, H*es” single.

Kodak hopped on Instagram Tuesday (December 12) with a thought-provoking comparison.

Recently, Atlanta rappers T.I. and 21 Savage talked about how drug raps have been around for decades.

Coincidentally, Waka Flocka Flame recently questioned hip-hop veteran Pete Rock for publicly slamming him for not putting respect on older generations.

A few days prior, Rock publicly let loose on Waka and gave him a hip-hop history lesson.

  1. LMAO he jus compared his bars to Jay Z’s hook??? LAAAAAME He coulda atleast used a hook of Jay’s like Regrets or something….I was expectin’ 2 see him maybeee comparin’ his lyrics in Everything 1k or No Flockin’ to In My Lifetime (remix) or Dead Presidents, but Kodak Probably don’t even know them songs. To evoke Jay Z name in a talk about lyrics and just use his “hook on a song” (see what I did there lol) is PATHETIC and BTW In My Lifetime and Dead Presidents lyrically SMASH Anything Kodak’s ever done
