Florida rapper Kodak Black has no problems with Lil Wayne but has explained why he took an ample shot at him earlier this year.
A new clip has surfaced of KB admitting Wayne not knowing his existence ultimately sparked his frustrations.
“A n*ggaa tried to smurf a n*gga, like, like, like, he don’t know who I am and sh*t so one day I over went – took that Patron and Grey Goose – I wasn’t finna wake up in the morning and say, ‘Oh, I’m sorry. That was a mistake. I was toast.'”
Back in February, Southern rapper Hurricane Chris came to Wayne’s defense and challenged Black to a fight.
Weeks prior, Wayne’s daughter trolled Kodak over her pops not knowing his existence.
A few days prior, Black refused to talk about calling out Wayne in a now-viral video.
“Right, [laughs], yeah,” Black said when told he should out-rap Lil Wayne instead of beat him up. “I don’t even want to talk about it. He’s too old. That’s what I said, that’s what I said, you know what I’m saying? Y’all ain’t finna have me tweeting right now. … I said that, I did say that.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
