Reality TV star Kim Kardashian isn’t giving her better half a hard time for not pulling through at the Met Gala 2018. The mother of three has stepped up to explain why Kanye West didn’t pop up at the star-studded outing.
Kim K went to Twitter last night (May 7) and referenced Ye’s dedication on finishing up new music for not attending.

Recently, reports surfaced and suggested Kim felt a way about Kanye’s now-infamous slavery remarks.
A source told Us Weekly that Kardashian, 37, wasn’t aware that the rapper was going to be on the show, and that she found out just as the rest of the country found out. “Kim was really upset that Kanye chose to have a very serious discussion in a place like that,” a source tells Us. “And because she wasn’t given a heads up about it beforehand.” “Kanye shared a lot of his passionate words, which was important to him but had they been said in a different setting and time, they would have come across in a different way,” the insider added. “A lot of things he said were very serious. If he had said them in different, more planned out way it would be a different story, even positive.” (Us Magazine)
Last weekend, music icon Stevie Wonder called Ye’s words nothing less than foolishness.

A few days ago, West Coast rapper Game said he would remain Ye’s friend despite his slavery views.
“Notice that a week ago the world was silent about Kanye. Now the entire world is in uproar over things he has said or done for the world to see,” The Game told Billboard via email. “Don’t think for a minute that his actions and plan weren’t well thought out and set up for his goal to reach his maximum potential. Kanye will always be a friend of mine & although I might not necessarily agree with his views on certain topics, that is what separate us as individuals.” (Billboard)
