In celebration of Eddie Griffin's new You Can Tell 'Em I Said It release this week, SOHH got the renowned stand-up comedian to analyze some of hip-hop's most talked about video vixen including Amber Rose, Nicki Minaj and Kim Kardashian.
While co-signing Rose and Minaj, Griffin pointed out Kardashian’s infamous 2007 retail sex tape featuring R&B singer Ray J for fueling her career.
“Amber Rose, man, the girl’s got it going on and I like what she’s bringing to the public,” Griffin told SOHH. “She’s bringing something new. Nicki Minaj, man, that girl’s got style, she’s got flavor and man, it’s like a female George Clinton. Man, she keeps it classy at the same time, that’s what I like about her. She don’t hooch herself out. Kim [Kardashian] is famous for f*cking somebody famous. So what are you talking about? [laughs] And did you see when Prince [recently] threw her a** off-stage at Madison Square Garden? That sh*t was funnier than a motherf*cker. That little n*gga said, ‘B*tch, you ain’t gonna dance? Vivid Entertainment, the world’s leading adult film studio, says it has paid $1-million to acquire rights to a video tape featuring the sexual exploits of raven-haired Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian and her then boyfriend, hip hop star Ray J. The company said the DVD titled “Kim Kardashian Superstar” will be released on Wednesday, February 21st and will be in stores by the following Wednesday, February 28th. It will also be available online on February 28th at www.vivid.com or www.kimksuperstar.com and will include additional footage not on the DVD. Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch said the company obtained the video from a third party but did not identify the person or entity. “We are comfortable that we have the legal right to distribute this video, despite what others may say,” says Mr. Hirsch.
