Former G.O.O.D. Music artist Kid Cudi went on a mini-Twitter rant this week proclaiming his greatness and explained how last year’s Speedin’ Bullet to Heaven will go down in history as life-changing.
Cudder dished out his personal thoughts on his career and music collection’s impact.
This week, Kid announced his upcoming solo album’s title on social media.
Recently, producer Mike Dean talked about working with Cudi on the new album.
“We spent a couple of weeks in L.A. just working on songs for him. “The Frequency” came out of that. We’ve got a good part of an album started. He’s rapping again, which is really dope. Back to his essence. We both had birthdays in the studio last month and we were both together on both birthdays, so it was a cool time. He would just jump on the mic and make a song in like five minutes.” (Billboard)
Rocker Travis Barker recently revealed Andre 3000 had hooked up with Cudi.
Barker mentioned that he ran into Andre 3000 (who embarrassed him by bowing down in honor of the drummer) at the second weekend of Coachella. The OutKast rapper not only suggested they get together and record, but also mentioned that he had been in the studio with Kid Cudi a few months ago and was in California to listen to the tracks. Travis described another time when he hit the studio with Cudi and the MC didn’t even rap, but instead played some mean guitar. (Billboard)
