Comedian Kevin Hart has friends in high places – literally. This week, the Hollywood juggernaut linked up with music mogul Jay Z.
Hart went to Instagram Thursday (June 1) night with a shot of himself alongside the Jigga Man.
Recently, buzz developed about Hart teaming up with rap star T.I. for a new Showtime series.
In a competitive situation, The Studio, a music-themed office comedy from Kevin Hart, and rapper-actor Tip “T.I.” Harris, has landed at Showtime for development. In addition to executive producing, Hart and T.I. are expected to make occasional guest appearances on the show, from Lionsgate TV. (Deadline)
Tip and Hart have previously worked together on multiple projects.
T.I. guest performed on Hart’s hip-hop album Kevin Hart: What Now? (The Mixtape Presents Chocolate Droppa) and then made a surprise appearance in Hart’s film Ride Along 2. (TV Guide)
