Louisiana rapper Kevin Gates is ready to embrace fans on the road again. The hip-hop star has announced plans to hit the road next summer for Michigan’s annual Common Ground music festival.

KG went to Instagram this week to break the news to his 5.7 million followers.

In late January, fellow Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz revealed his interest in securing Gates for his upcoming concert.

Last month, Dipset’s Jim Jones reacted to Gates getting released from jail after serving nearly a full year behind bars.

On January 10, after months of anticipation, Gates finally tasted freedom.

Gates, who served nine months out of a 30-month sentence for a felony weapons charge, was reportedly let go on parole. Last year, after he was initially released from prison, Gates was re-arrested the same day for an outstanding weapons-related warrant. (Billboard)
