Top Dawg Entertainment affiliate G-Weeder is still on the road to recovery but he’s feeling the love. The West Coast native has received some more support following a near-death shooting and hospitalization.
G-Weed went to Instagram Tuesday (May 23) with shots of pals like R&B stud Trey Songz coming through to check on him.

A few days ago, TDE’s Kendrick Lamar reached out to him on Facetime.
Last week, details surfaced about G-Weeder getting shot in the head.
The news was shared by Inglewood rapper Skeme and JRoc The Bodyguard who works closely with Nipsey Hussle and other rappers from L.A. area. G-Weed is a known Piru and grew up with Kendrick Lamar in Compton. He was featured in the Noisey: Bompton documentary and a few of Kendrick’s music videos as well, including ‘King Kunta’. G-Weed is also one of the guys who makes an appearance on the cover of Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore album To Pimp A Butterfly and was with the rapper when he received the key to his city of Compton last year.
