Atlanta producer Metro Boomin recently updated fans on what new music he has on deck and revealed he has something stirring with Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar.

According to Metro, hip-hop heads should expect his production on some new music from K. Dot and G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean.

“I never ever really talk about things like this but we’re in the UK. So, um, I met Kendrick and we were in the studio. He got a whole bunch of – he picked a bunch of beats out. That was great. He’s a great guy, we vibed out for the day. I’ve been working on a bunch of stuff for Big Sean’s new album. That’s a friend of mine. Shout-out to Sean. [I have] some other stuff but you know?” (BBC Radio 1)

NBA superstar LeBron James weighed-in on Kendrick’s new untitled unmastered album this week.

“I got an opportunity to listen to some music last few days and obviously, a good friend of mine, Kendrick, blessed me with that album that just dropped. So I can even lock in, kind of use that for motivation moving forward. So shout-out Kendrick, Top Dawg, you know, everybody there at TDE, making that great music. Appreciate it man, everything is love and it’s going to be a great stretch run for our ball club, for our team and looking forward to seeing all y’all either in the Q[uicken Loans Arena] or on the road. Let’s gear up, stay sharp, and you already know to strive for greatness.” (“Uninterrupted”)

Kendrick’s latest solo offering is expected to crush its competition on the sales chart this week.

One of Friday’s two sneak attacks, Kendrick Lamar’s untitled unmastered project, looks headed for a resounding #1 on the forthcoming HITS Album Sales and SPS charts.

Kendrick Lamar (TDE/Interscope) 140-150k album, 175-185k SPS
2 Chainz (Def Jam) 35-45k, 55-65k
Ninja Sex Party (Ninja Sex Party) 24-27k (HITS Daily Double)

A few days ago, rap producer Swizz Beatz dished on Kendrick’s new album.
