Kendrick The Producer

Grammy-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar, Dave Free and South Park co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have signed on to produce an untitled, live-action comedy for Paramount Pictures. Written by Vernon Chatman, the premise of the movie is ironic all around -- and a black man's nightmare -- a la Jordan Peele's, "Get Out".

Kendrick Lamar Set To Produce New Comedy Show For Paramount

The new movie is about a young Black man who interns as a slave re-enactor at a living history museum and discovers that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned his family.

Lamar and Free are producing for pgLang, with Stone and Parker for Park County

Paramount Pictures is set to handle theatrical distribution, home entertainment, and television licensing rights, with the movie also being streamed on Paramount+.

“On behalf of Paramount Pictures and the wider ViacomCBS family, we look forward to ushering in the first theatrical collaboration from these creative visionaries, and galvanizing audiences worldwide around a powerful storytelling experience,” said Paramount Pictures’ President & CEO, Brian Robbins.

Kendricks Final TDE Album

We recently reported on Kendrick announcing his final TDE album and possibly final album ever.

Lamar hit up his Instagram page with everything completely wiped out except a single post showing a folder titled ‘nu thoughts.’ Inside the post urged followers to visit oklama.com where he revealed his first public words in months.

Kendrick Back In The Game

One of Kendrick Lamar’s last music appearances was a feature on his cousin Baby Keem’s song, “Family Ties”.

The hip-hop star and elusive Top Dawg Entertainment member came through with his cousin Baby Keem in their new “family ties” music video. The must-see visual clocks in at over four minutes in length and has plenty of cinematic galore. Along with the mind-blowing video’s elements, the song itself is just his first official collaboration with Keem.
