Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar had to put a fan into check during his Hangout Festival performance. Footage has now gone viral of Kung Fu Kenny stopping his set after a white female fan dropped the N-bomb not once, not twice but three times on-stage.

New footage from last night’s performance shows Lamar and upset fans putting the spotlight on concertgoer “Delaney” for her “m.A.A.d city” recital.

Delany promised she knew all the words, n-word included … and after dropping it 3 times … Kendrick had to stop everything. She was clueless at first, responding, “Am I not cool enough for you?” The crowd started booing and Kendrick was shocked, and told her she needed to bleep one word. Delaney was apologetic, and the show continued. Kendrick was forgiving, but the crowd was not. (TMZ)

Last month, Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy celebrated Lamar winning a Pulitzer Prize for his DAMN. album.

A Pulitzer Prize executive recently provided some context behind Lamar landing the game-changing award.

“The time was right,” Dana Canedy, the administrator of the prizes, said in an interview after the winners were announced. “We are very proud of this selection. It means that the jury and the board judging system worked as it’s supposed to — the best work was awarded a Pulitzer Prize.” She added: “It shines a light on hip-hop in a completely different way. This is a big moment for hip-hop music and a big moment for the Pulitzers.” (New York Times)

After the big win, everyone from Busta Rhymes to comedian Martin Lawrence acknowledged K. Dot’s game-changing achievement.
