Stellar Lineup For Governors Ball “After Dark”

As the Governors Ball “After Dark” concert continues through June 11, attendees will be treated to mesmerizing performances by star producer Metro Boomin, Sofu Turner Tukker, Black Midi, Evan Giia, Kaycyy, and other talented artists.

In 2022, the Governors Ball featured rappers J. Cole and Kid Cudi as headliners, attracting massive crowds and leaving lasting memories for music enthusiasts.

A rumor also suggested a potential split in the rap group Migos after their 2022 Governors Ball performance was canceled. Lil Wayne later replaced them.

Another incident during the 2022 Governors Ball involved the arrest of Roddy Ricch on gun possession charges, leading to the cancellation of his performance.

The annual music festival, Governors Ball, has announced its lineup for 2023. The artists performing are some of the biggest names in music across many genres. 

Joey Bada$$, Lil Uzi, Pusha T & More Join A Star-Studded Weekend

This year’s Governors Ball will take place June 9-11 in Flushing, Queens in New York City. The first day will be headlined by pop and R&B singer Lizzo, where Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert, and Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$ will also perform.

The second day will be headlined by electronic music duo Odesza and Atlanta rapper Lil Baby, who just dropped a chart-topping album, It’s Only Me. The third and final day will be headlined by West Coast star rapper Kendrick Lamar, who will also headline the Osheaga Festival in Montreal this summer.

Other artists joining Kendrick on that day will include rappers Lil Nas X, and Pusha T, along with singers Giveon and Tems.

West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar is set to perform at Barcelona Primavera Sound Concert in Spain. The festival is set to take place between June 7-11.

Other artists expected to perform are Pusha T, Tems, and Baby Keem.
