The Rolling Loud festival is always the talk of the rap and music scene and they have finally dropped their long-awaited Miami 2022 lineup, announcing the mighty return and possibly one of the final acts of Kendrick Lamar.

The annual Rolling Loud festival is set for July 22-24 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium and it will be headlined by Kanye West, Future, and Kendrick Lamar, three major hip-hop figures with not only a massive fanbase but a massive impact on popular rap in the 21st century.

This will be Kanye’s second scheduled headlining festival appearance this year, fresh off the release of his album DONDA 2 and album listening concert that was also in Miami, he’s also slated to headline Coachella in April. Fans suspected that he would be a headliner at Rolling Loud after he, in true Kanye fashion, posted now-deleted texts with festival co-owner Tariq Cherif earlier this week.

Future, who’s known for bringing out exciting guests to his sets, will return as a headliner for his second year in a row. After rocking his set at Rolling Loud 2021, Future shocked and awed the crowd by bringing Kanye West to the stage

As for Kendrick, following his Super Bowl halftime performance, this is his first Rolling Loud appearance since Miami 2017.  With the prospect of new music marking his final TDE release on the horizon, there’s no doubt Kendrick and rap fans alike will be flocking to Miami to see K-Dot grace the main stage once again.

But the headliners aren’t the only source of excitement this festival has to offer, with the undercard artists providing that same headliner excitement. Other notable names for the summer music festival include Playboi Carti, Lil Durk, Don Toliver, 2 Chainz, Lil Yachty, Three 6 Mafia, Saweetie, Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, DaBaby, Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Baby Keem, Ski Mask the Slump God, Lil Tjay, Soulja Boy, Flo Milli, A$AP Ferg, Kevin Gates, City Girls and $uicideboy$.

Tickets for Rolling Loud Miami go on sale on March 7 at 12PM EST.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar is gearing up for completely “nu thoughts.”  The hip-hop legend, who recently announced his forthcoming album will be his last, has filed for the copyright of 32 songs with The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.  A possible 32 song project would be a massive blessing to fans as his final opus, though it will be bittersweet.

As for Rolling Loud, the organizers will be returning to the event this year after a stage collapse incident last year and in the shadow of the Travis Scott Astroworld tragedy.
