The new To Pimp a Butterfly visual premiered on a New York billboard last night (April 1).

Self-proclaimed King of New York Kendrick Lamar may have premiered his video for “King Kunta” in the middle of Times Square on Wednesday evening, but don’t be mistaken: The good kid’s mad city of choice is still Compton, Calif. That’s evident in the new clip, which features Kendrick and friends strolling through the So-Cal streets, dancing in a parking lot, and doing some ferocious rapping while mulling over a beer purchase at a bodega.
