Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar has social media buzzing after appearing to fire back at Roc Nation’s Jay Electronica on his new untitled unmastered album.

Speculation over K. Dot possibly getting at Jay Elect on his “untitled 07” song has developed.

Now it sounds like Kendrick has responded, if not vaguely, to Elect’s lack of musical production over the years on “untitled 07 | 2014 – 2016,” a track produced by Swizz Beatz and his five-year-old son Egypt on untitled unmastered. He sends the subliminals around the 3:18 marker, spitting:

“”You n*ggas fear me like ya’ll fear God
/You sound frantic, I hear panic in your voice
/Just know the mechanics of making your choice
/and writin’ your bars
/Before you poke out your chest, loosen your bra
/Before you step out of line and dance with the star
/I can never end a career if it never start”” (Complex)

Jay Elect and Top Dawg Entertainment president Dave Free went at each other on Twitter last month.

A screenshot of 50 responding to an Instagram follower asking why he had not addressed Jay Elect’s recent Periscope disses landed across social media a few days prior.

Footage of Jay Elect letting loose on the hip-hop heavyweight and fellow rap star Kendrick Lamar on Periscope emerged online earlier this month.

Jay Electronica was driving around Miami when he decided to broadcast live via Periscope for a while. During that drive, a fan asked him to play some Kendrick Lamar over his car speakers. “Fuck that,” Jay responded. He also said that 50 Cent is “on some sucker sh*t” and said he would “slap his f*ckin’ eyeballs loose out his scalp.”
