Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar is here for Colin Kaepernick‘s publicized Black Lives Matter awareness stance. The hip-hop stud has weighed-in on the NFL free agent remaining in the headlines for his controversial movement.
In a new interview, K. Dot said he fully supported Kaep’s headline-generating national anthem kneeling motive.
“[Kaepernick] wants to stand for something. Simple as that. You don’t look at the moment, whether it’s gonna work or not. No, you look at what the next generation is gonna receive from it.” (REC Philly)

Last weekend, music mogul JAY-Z flexed his support for Kaepernick during a “Saturday Night Live” performance.

The rapper served as the musical guest and wasted no time in calling attention to the national anthem protests and Colin Kaepernick. Jay Z rocked a custom-made jersey that said ‘Colin K’ on the back, a clear message of support to the man who started the anthem protests that Donald Trump has trapped in his crosshairs.
