Reality TV star Kendall Jenner and Pepsi are staying in the headlines. The soda giant’s now-pulled commerical is once again under fire.

New reports claim Pepsi could have some legal drama on its hands over using costumes resembling real-life law enforcement gear.

Sources at the San Francisco PD tell us Pepsi never asked permission to mimic their uniforms. What’s more, the sources say they’re working with the City Attorney to determine if producers crossed the legal line by using the logo, which the City considers proprietary. True enough … pics of the emblem are featured in behind the scenes footage of the making of the commercial — footage that was released online and got lots of views, and might now land producers in even more hot water. This week, reports suggested Kendall Jenner had felt devastated over her controversial ad.

A source familiar with Jenner’s deal with Pepsi tells ET that the commercial was only slated to air overseas, not in the U.S., but it ended up making the rounds online, with even the 21-year-old model tweeting it out. The source adds that Jenner is “devastated” by the backlash, as she’s already been called out for her involvement in the ad by several of her Twitter followers. “This is the first controversial campaign she has been involved with,” the source continues. “Even though she had nothing to do with the production and the message of the campaign, she will be blamed for this since she is the face.” (ET Online)

A couple days ago, Pepsi issued a public apology to Kendall Jenner following a disastrous commercial.

Hours prior, the ad went viral and showed Jenner using a Pepsi can to bring peace to a protest.

The ad shows Jenner, 21, ditching her high-fashion photo shoot to join the masses and then appearing to bring an end to the protest by sharing a Pepsi with a police officer. When the officer drinks the Pepsi, the crowd erupts in applause. A description of the ad on Pepsi Global’s YouTube channel describes the commercial as “a short film about the moments when we decide to let go, choose to act, follow our passion and nothing holds us back.” (ABC News)

  1. There are few people in the public eye whom I despise more than the Kardashian/Jenners- a group of people to whom I often deeply attribute a signal to the decline of Western Culture and perhaps western civilization as a whole. However, in light of this new Pepsi ad which features culture-vulture and 21 year old multi-millionaire Kendall Jenner grotesquely misappropriating what is perhaps one of the most crucial movements of our nations’ current youth- I can no longer stay silent. @pepsi shame on you for such a heinous and tone def ad. From the minute that this vile pig Jenner rips off her blonde wig and tosses it to a black woman, posed like a hand-maiden to the white spoiled brat, I cringed more deeply than I’ve cringed in a long time- and with the orange cheeto as our president, that is saying a fuckload of a lot. Pepsi- it’s not too late to do some serious damage control. It’s time you immediately remove and denounce this offensive trash and distance yourself from it immediately. The Jenners/Kardashians have long profited from the rich and complex legacy of African American culture without so much as lifting a finger nor raising a single voice in chorus with the not-so-glamourous issues that really matter within the community and should therefore be shunned. How dare you compare idiot Kendall to the brave and valient image of Ieshia L. Evans- an *actual* BLM peaceful protestor who was arrested in Baton Rogue?

  2. How absolutely stupid are people???.
It’s a commercial about peace, you freaking idiot’s. It’s because people like you that keep humanity separated, instead of together. Guess what???? It’s a Pepsi commercial, not some kind of stupid conspiracy. Get a life
