“Saturday Night Live” cast member Kenan Thompson isn’t biting his tongue about last weekend’s Yeezy antics. The funnyman addressed Kanye West making cast members feel like hostages with his political statements.

Appearing on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” last night, Thompson weighed in on what went down.

“I don’t know if that’s the moment necessarily to hold people hostage like tha. But hey, you know. … I felt so bad for those guys. Because it’s hard to stand there and not be able to debate somebody who’s going so far against your personal opinion.” (“Late Night With Seth Meyers”)

This week, talk show host Wendy Williams shared her disgust with Ye’s antics.

“I’ll tell you this, he needs to stay in the house. Honestly. I feel bad for Kim [Kardashian] and the kids – he does not appear to be all there, I know controversy sells, but this is a little controversial.” (“The Wendy Williams Show”)

A few days ago, Kanye fully stood up for donning his Make America Great Again hat and explained why he believes it’s a positive thing following the “SNL” appearance.

Hours prior, hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz shared his issues with Kanye donning the MAGA apparel.

“Yeah I just seen the ‘SNL’ Kanye and I hear you talking about you’re being bullied for the hat. It feels kinda funny because we were just talking about that less than 48 hours ago. Teyana Taylor was in the studio – a bunch of people were in the studio and I was just addressing how uncomfortable the culture feels with you representing somebody that’s blatantly hurting our people. You understand? Ain’t nobody bullying you. We love you. We love you. We’re not bullying you but you gotta stop that sh*t, man. That sh*t ain’t right.”
