Money Monday. It’s a few days past “Pay Day” but that’s no reason why we shouldn’t take a look at what’s hurting Kelis‘ wallet. Speaking of hurting, is Miley Cyrus really trying to put a hurting on the music industry? A couple of people big on hurting the industry, in a good way, are Jay-Z and Beyoncé but even they need time to relax and catch a movie. Think you can guess what they went to see? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

It looks like Kelis is having a hard time making payments and an even harder time keeping Uncle Sam happy. Even after winning child support and spousal support from ex-husband Nas, Kelis still can’t catch a break. TMZ has the inside:

Answer: Kelis paying taxes in 2004.
Question: What is something that did NOT happen?

According to documents filed in May by Uncle Sam, Kelis did not pay federal income taxes 9 years ago … to the tune of $134,931.59.

As TMZ first reported, the singer also skipped out on her NY state taxes in 2004 and 2010 … as well as 2 years of CA state and federal taxes — add on the new lien, and her total debt comes to $741,027.59.

In related news — Kelis recently sold a condo in NYC for about $2.2 million … so she might have the scratch to settle up with the taxman.

Calls to Kelis’ camp have not been returned. (TMZ)

Selling condos? Owing taxes dating back almost a decade ago? Single mother? It seems Kelis has some stiff challenges going on, maybe a milkshake could really help her take it easy. #SOHHWhatchaThink?

Is Miley Cyrus going to be the next Rihanna? Probably not but you can’t tell her that. She’s putting in studio time with some of hip-hop’s biggest stars and making no apologies about it either. Miss Info TV has the scoop on her newest song:

Miley Cyrus is back, and she has a more urban flavor to her sound. The 20-year-old pop star returns with her new single “We Can’t Stop,” produced by rap’s favorite go-to producer Mike Will Made It. Miley looks to have house parties moving this summer as she reminds listeners they are free to say and do whatever. Some current hip-hop elements pop up throughout the song as Miley’s record includes a screwed hook, the mention of red cups and molly. Her new album is set to arrive later this year with contributions from Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Hit-Boy, Tyler, the Creator, and more. (Miss Info TV)

Is this the type of record that’ll grow on you? Seems like Miley’s extremely dedicated and won’t stop until she’s either reached her peak or fellow celebrity co-signs. #SOHHWhatchaThink?

Jay-Z and Beyoncé are probably more human and down-to-Earth than most of would thiink. Just like you and me, they enjoy grabbing some popcorn and a pair of movie tickets. Can you guess what movie they went to go and see? Rap-Up has the details:

Fresh from London for the “Chime for Change” concert, Beyoncé and Jay-Z spent a leisurely Sunday at the movies. The superstar couple strolled through New York’s Battery Park on their way to see Iron Man 3. B showed off her legs in leather shorts and mint heels, while Jay rocked a “Blame Society” T-shirt. They were later spotted at Hot 97 Summer Jam XX in New Jersey. Jay-Z was rumored to be a surprise guest during Kendrick Lamar’a set, but he didn’t touch the stage. (Rap-Up)

Iron Man 3 this late? You would think Jay and Bey would have attended the official movie premiere for it a while back, but considering their busy schedule, it’s understandable they couldn’t find the time. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
