Karrueche Tran On Chris Brown Split: "I Cussed Him Out"

Model Karrueche Tran has finally come forward to speak out on her publicized split from R&B singer Chris Brown following news of his secret daughter, Royalty.

According to Karrueche, she found out about Chris’ kid when the news broke out on gossip-driven website TMZ earlier this year.

“I am 100 percent single,” Karrueche said when asked if she’s still dating Chris Brown. “It’s hard [to avoid him] because, like – I make it so we don’t have to cross paths so it’s not awkward. But I do get on Instagram and there’s people tagging us or I’ll hear a song or something. … When [Chris’ baby news] hit TMZ, I was like, ‘Oh! Uh oh. Okay. Ugh!’ I called him, I cussed him out and I was like, [we’re done]. After the whole Rihanna thing, it’s been like a year or whatever, we’ve been trying to fix what was broken.” (REAL 92.3)

Karrueche resorted to social media to address a fan giving her preference over Breezy’s daughter a few weeks ago.

Breezy reportedly reached out to Tran multiple times via phone calls and social media throughout the spring.

We’re told he’s blowing up her phone and her friend’s phones, but she’s radio silent with him. He’s been so frustrated he’s turned to social media, complimenting her for all to see. He likes photos she posts and when Karrueche posted the pic below he wrote, “Keep killing it kiddo.” But nothing’s worked and he’s depressed. But hope springs eternal, and Chris is telling his friends he’s not going to date anyone else and is confident Karrueche will come back to him. (TMZ)

In her recent sit-down with interviewer Iyanla Vanzant for the Oprah Winfrey Network last month, Tran talked about feeling betrayed by Chris Brown.

“I feel hurt because the man I loved betrayed me. I will never again let a man disrespect me. I want my voice to be heard – I want to clear it up and tell my story and tell my side,” Tran said. “I saw a different side of Chris that not everybody sees. Although he’s done whatever he’s done, he’s a good-hearted person. He’s a big kid with a big heart that’s been through some things.” (OWN)
