Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West‘s The Life Of Pablo is reportedly helping Apple Music and Spotify in overall streams with monster numbers this week.

According to reports, Yeezy’s now-widely available album is nearing 100 million streams since going mainstream last Friday (April 1).

Although sales will likely account for a minuscule piece of his total (The Life of Pablo is for sale only on his website), Kanye West may be a contender for #1 on our next Sales + Plus Streaming (SPS) chart. Since going wide to Spotify, Apple Music and other services last week, preliminary data suggests Pablo (G.O.O.D./Def Jam) is on track for some 90m streams, which would put him at 60k+ SEA. A few days ago, Kanye boasted about his album’s wide release on Twitter.

Def Jam has also weighed-in on the new album’s mass availability last week.

“In the months to come, Kanye will release new updates, new versions, and new iterations of the album,” the rapper’s label, Def Jam, said in a statement. “An innovative, continuous process, the album will be a living, evolving art project. The Life of Pablo has truly taken on a life of its own.” (MTV)

In addition to Apple Music, Ye’s new album is also available on Spotify.

Kanye West’s latest album, The Life of Pablo, has arrived on Spotify, Google Play Music, and Apple Music. It was reported yesterday that West’s still-changing album would soon appear on the services, despite the self-proclaimed greatest artist ever saying it would remain a Tidal exclusive forever, and would “never never never be on Apple.” He might be half true to his word, however — at present, The Life of Pablo has yet to turn up on iTunes.
