According to reports, Ye’s latest solo effort won’t come out on Friday – however – West’s wife Kim Kardashian has continued to push its September 27 drop date.

As if Kanye West’s album releases hadn’t already become confusing enough, it now appears that contrary to a previous announcement, his next album, “Jesus Is King,” is notbeing released this Friday, a source close to the situation tells Variety. But according to West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, maybe it is?Kardashian, who has been intermittently counting down toward the album’s release, earlier today retweeted a tweet from one “Colinags” that says “Two more days Jesus is King.” (Colinags’ identity is unclear, but his account is followed by West.)

Earlier this month, footage had emerged of Ye telling a crowd his follow-up to last year’s Ye is set for September 27.

Last month, Kim Kardashian went to her Instagram Story to reveal Kanye is “this” close to dropping his new album Jesus Is King.

Prior to promising to release Yandhi last year, Kanye stayed busy in 2018 with multiple studio releases.

Last year, Kanye West released his eighth solo album ye. He also collaborated with Kid Cudi for KIDS SEE GHOSTS and produced albums for PUSHA-TNas, and Teyana Taylor. In September 2018, West announced that he’d release an album called Yandhi that same month. The release date was subsequently delayed and then postponed indefinitely. (Pitchfork)
