Kanye West’s Camp Calms Down David Bowie Fans, Dismisses Cover Album Rumor

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West reportedly has no interest in covering one of music icon David Bowie‘s albums.

A West representative has nixed the widespread rumor amid backlash from Bowie fans allegedly protesting the rap star.

Outrage spread on the Internet after multiple reports claimed Kanye was recording a tribute — featuring covers of Bowie’s biggest hits — however, a rep for West tells us that’s complete BS. The rumor, apparently started in a British tab, launched a petition — which already has 5,000 signatures — to shut down the album. (TMZ)
