Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West is reportedly in hot water for not paying a composer enough for 2013’s “New Slaves” single.
According to reports, Yeezus could lose at least $2.5 million in a lawsuit.
Gabor Presser, a big shot Hungarian composer, says the last part of Kanye’s “New Slaves” features one of his songs. Presser says right before the song was dropped in 2013, ‘Ye reached out for permission to use it. According to the docs — obtained by TMZ — Presser says Kanye sent him a $10k advance to push the deal through, but Presser says he never cashed the check. (TMZ)

Last month, Yeezy dished on the importance of T.L.O.P.‘s “Famous” song and referenced his now-infamous Taylor Swift feud during a live performance.

Ye performed his The Life Of Pablo album for the first time during his overseas Philippines show last month.
Among the songs ‘Ye live-debuted off his chart-topping album was “Famous.” While performing for the crowd at Paradise Grounds, he paused for the controversial Taylor Swift lyrics, allowing the Manila crowd to recite the line in unison. (Rap-Up)
