Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West is changing the music industry once again by announcing plans to never release another album in a CD packaging.
Yeezy broke the big news to his 19.9 million Twitter followers Monday (March 7).
Last week, Kanye addressed speculation of being a supporter of illegal file-sharing site The Pirate Bay.
“It’s funny because, you know, it’s obviously not my computer,” Kanye can be heard telling the paparazzi in the video below. “I took a picture of it in the studio, and then everybody was like, ‘Don’t put that up.’ I was like, ‘Let it go up.’” … “You know, the irony that that was the site that downloaded a million of my albums…” Kanye continued after a long pause. A few days prior, TIDAL’s deadmau5 responded to disses fired his way from Yeezy over the Pirate Bay controversy.
Yeezy taunted deadmau5’s on-stage attire and likened him to Disney character Mickey Mouse on Twitter last Wednesday (March 2).
