According to reports, Mr. West will rely on Jigga’s team to take on an array of tasks.

Two hip-hop superpowers are joining forces. Kanye West’s creative company DONDA has partnered with Jay Z’s Roc Nation to manage all DONDA Music. According to a press release, the partnership will focus on Kanye’s international recording brand and worldwide touring ventures. DONDA is the vision of West, who officially launched the brand in 2011. The company has directed music videos and content for Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Pusha T, and most recently designed the concept, design, and production for West’s “Yeezus Tour.” (Rap-Up)

Last summer, Kanye launched a non-profit organization in his late mother’s honor.

The Yeezus star recently announced the opening of his non-profit organization Donda’s House, which he created in memory of his late mother Dr. Donda West. The charity is geared toward Chi-town teens with the focus of “implementing arts and literature experiences that transform youth.” “My mom spent her life as an educator and I am happy that Donda’s House can pick up her torch and honor her life’s mission,” the rapper said in a press release. Previous reports revealed Kanye would heavily rely on Donda’s House co-founder Rhymefest to get the program rolling.

The non-profit’s main youth education and training program is called “Got Bars.” Donda’s House co-founder and assistant director Che Rhymefest Smith says it “will change our youth musically, get them healthy and keep them busy in a creative, peaceful environment. “I am so happy to launch “Got Bars” to honor Kanye West’s mother’s memory and to fulfill one of my Aldermanic campaign goals,” Smith said. “I know it will be an even stronger program because of our partnership with the ARK of St. Sabina.” (Chicago Defender)

Last year, rap star Lil Wayne relied on Kanye’s DONDA brand to put together his I Am Not A Human Being II cover art.

“(Kanye) said, you know, man, let me do your cover. I saw the cover and I approved it. He had an explanation behind it – he said, he chose the moth butterfly thing because it has so many different stages of life, and it goes through so many forms and changes, and no one can figure it out, and it’s always beautiful. At a time it’s ugly and at a time it’s beautiful too. And that’s me.” (NOLA)
