According to reports, Ye’s presence at the Los Angeles community college has turned into a major positive.

According to court docs, Yeezy’s not only killing it teaching at LA Trade Technical College … he’s also being credited by the school for increasing the number of men in the fashion design program by nearly 40%. Kanye’s on track to wrap in June, but maybe he’ll want to stick around campus. One thing though kids … don’t ever speak in his class. (TMZ)

Check out what a student said Yeezy taught him on the next page…

Last year, 19-year-old Andre Pitts said he had no idea Yeezy would come through to teach.

“None of the students knew that he was going to show up. We were asked if some students wanted to help other students with their work after class, so I agreed to try to help other students with their work. … I mean, nobody had any idea. All I knew is that I was gonna help other students after school with their work, and then all of a sudden Kanye walked in through the door after we were done with our presentations.” (Complex)

According to Pitts, Kanye dished on everything from late music icon Tupac Shakur to Apple creator Steve Jobs.

“He was all over the place. He reminds me of my brother, the way he didn’t really stick to one thing. He talked about Tupac. He was watching the movie Juice, and he was inspired by Tupac being in the movie. He talked about how Ice Cube is one of his biggest inspirations and one of his biggest let-downs. He talked a little bit about Steve Jobs. He mentioned a little bit about how the media portrays him negatively, but he’s saying that he’s not anything negative, it’s just him being real and calling out bullshit all the time. He spoke about his grandfather, actually, and him being in Chicago, and after that it was kind of cut off short, and he had us go into questions and answers.” (Complex)

July reports claimed Mr. West had completed nearly a quarter of his 240 hours at the college.

Kanye’s lawyer was in court … telling the judge Kanye has completed 30 of his 240 hours of community service at L.A. Trade Technical College. The community service supervisor called Kanye’s progress, “an excellent display of work.” It also came out Kanye is “performing excellently” in his anger management — completing 10 of his 24 sessions of therapy.Truth be told … Kanye got more community service than most people in his shoes. 1. thats what he be talking about ….he’s a leader and a person that inspires others but is rarely given that credit or portrayed as that because he’s not saying shit in a nice well spoken well mannered way….kanye not my top 25 rapper but he’s my favorite artist behind pac…Actually i think its about time for another rant

    • Thats true but he doesn’t go about conveying his message the right way and comes off as a diva at times and just a baby. I don’t compare him to Pac at all really, Pac was more of a man when delivering his message and not worried about grammy’s and whining over other awards etc. Kanye is alright but some of the stuff he does is suspect. He does have a message though you are correct.

      • thank you for reading my comment you make a great point when you say was more of man when he made his points but where did that get him…it got him black balled by his on genre….hip hop dont stand behind pac….i love pac …but when hip hop had its chance they picked biggie as its rep….nothing wrong with biggie but ny radio black balled pac for being unforgiven and rough…hip hop shited on hip hop by choosing to give a rapper with the content of biggie more burn than pac…. pac sold more cd… but does not get called the best enough and his catalog dont get the play it deserved….but for kanye and the grammys….with all respect he’s right a 100 % if we dont fight for our credit and contributions to the art we will continued to be rob…we will continue to not know what our people are capable of….the reason so many blacks like myself feel lost is because we dont know where we come from and we dont credit for our success…in the old days we were looked at as a percentage of a man but not whole….so to have a kanye make the art and not say kanye did this and its beautiful is like counting me to a half all over again..dont tell me nicki is garbage than award iggy…thats why kanye got to stand up…People turned to see kanye and beyonce beccause they grammy used them and and their power as the saling point….dont promote you show around me waste my time then give me beck

        • Beck no clue on because I don’t listen to his music at all but I am not a Beyonce fan at all and think she is vastly overrated and so many artists out there who are better so that is for a different discussion. Pac gets alot of respect worldwide and his catalogue is deep and most hip hop fans have an album or two of his, so I can’t fully agree there. He is known to some as the best ever and seems to get his due on my end of things. NY at the time blackballed him because of that East West thing going on IMO and even then he still sold alot of records in NY! He still got love and respect! I can see what you are saying about some other things and agree but on those there I disagree. Kanye IMO can be a rep and a voice but go about it like a man and less of like a little pouty diva, which he comes across as at some points like the Grammy’s and Sways show etc., he looks bad. Pac was more militant and straight forward.

          • funk flex still to this day goes at pac….Ny radio only plays dear momma and my my ambition as a ridah no dear mr president no astro plane….he has a very deep catalog and i only hear 3 song of his song on ny radio….but every march i hear all biggie songs almost once a week i hear a biggie song…..and again not dissing big but the value of his content wont stand the test of time it cant be felt by all…pac is world wide but you know like me half the people out are copy cats….Example i used is the ny fitted everyone rocks yankee hats but dont watch baseball….thats what im saying when i say biggie …he is known and jayz name drops him…so when you ask another rapper they to scared not to say him…people are not honest when it comes to pac….but thats a different argument…i agree with the overall thought but with kanye he is passionate he would be fake if he tryed to be militant he not a G….his role in the revolution if ever one would not be front line we need him for other things….Kanye is a creator / artist who inspires change it wasnt his get up and go to job…so at time he’s not properly dressed or correct with words…thats what makes it pour its real unedited from the heart….

I am enjoying this because you seem to be open minded so with that i make this point and attempt to clearly paint what im saying….X was by any means, malcom was peace turn the other cheek…..Both leaders but both would tell you the other was wrong…..thats how i see kanye….not ready for that level of responsibility but a difference maker thats going to change things in a way that going to turn a lot of people off……
I can understand you dont like his ways but who else is willing to do it….jay wont nas has not yet despite all the talk….puff wont dre wont i think ti would try but all the heavy weights stay quite…mos def trys, common rhymefest killer mic they all do it…but guess what no coverage…with out coverage the message gets loss….thats why kanye can make stuff happens the media desire to have him say something stupid has given him an outlet and when he speaks he;s not lieing
Im at work Desk job Sorry for so much typing but you make great points and i enjoy reading great post and kinda kanye out LOL!!!!

      • Sorry to type so much but you gave an thoughtful good point just trying to to reply…
