During a UStream session on Friday (August 6), Yeezy said plans for a September 14th G.O.O.D. Music Day were nixed.

Kanye West is taking full advantage of all that technology has to offer. The rapper, who recently joined Twitter, hosted his first Ustream chat today (Aug. 6) from Korea and revealed that his new album will be out “sometime in November.” West also said that his next single — the follow-up to “Power” — will drop in about 20 days, and it’s a toss-up between a track called “Lost in The World” and “All of The Lights.” He played a short snippet of the latter, which features big horns and double-speed drums. Earlier this month, West talked about wanting his new LP to be filled with joy.

“Everyone says all great art comes from pain but I think my greatest art comes from excitement and joy. It’s a completely different perspective about being extremely excited about stuff that is only cool to me,” West said in a recent Rolling Stone office visit. “Like, when I tweeted, ‘What’s your credenza game?’ I was very excited about that credenza…It was important to not be limited by the art form of rap but to have rap bring it to another level. Is it rap or is it poetry? Is it spoken word? Is it [a] speech?” (MTV)

Writing on Twitter last month, Ye surprised fans by deciding to recall the previously announced Good A** Job album title.

“The album is no longer called “Good A** Job” I’m bouncing a couple of titles around now,” Kanye West revealed via his new Twitter page on Wednesday (July 28). (Kanye West’s Twitter)

According to Ye’s “Power” director, Marco Brambilla, the new album is currently titled Dark Twisted Fantasy.

“That’s exactly what I like about his music. It’s the anti-Tiger Woods moment, you know? This [‘Power’ video] is really about that. The new album is very personal, too, and the various tracks on the album suggest things that have happened to him. This is the most epic track. It was a really great opportunity to show a moment of defiance and a moment of self-awareness. It’s that combination that he has as an artist that’s very peculiar…I’ve heard [Dark Twisted Fantasy] is the latest name. I would say not locked-in, and it would probably not get locked until closer to the time of the album release.” (New York Mag)
