Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has professed his loyalty to sportswear giant adidas and vowed to stick with them even if rival company Nike offered him a billion dollars.

Approached by paparazzi this week, Yeezy declared his love for Team Adidas.

“I’m good bro. That’s a good question,” Kanye said when asked if he would sign with Nike for a billion dollars. “It’s not about the money, man, it’s about the respect – adidas is my family.” (TMZ)

Yeezy hopped onto his Twitter page early Friday (January 8) to deny having any bad blood with Nike partner LeBron James.

Despite being a Yeezy fan, King James recently said he could not co-sign him going after Nike on the new “Facts” song.

“Obviously I’m going to side with Nike no matter who it is,” James said. “It’s just, it’s family when you talk about Nike, and I’m always on their side no matter what the situation is.” (Cleveland)

On “Facts,” Ye takes direct aim at Nike paying LeBron to be a spokesperson.

Yeezy in the house and we just got appraised/Nike, Nike treat employees just like slaves/Gave LeBron a billi’ not to run away (Yo!)/10 thousand dollar fur for Nori, I just copped it (Yo!)” (“Facts”)

  1. Nike is not going to offer him a billion……..he’ll need to do ridiculous numbers before this is even a thought

  2. Everybody has a price tag including Kanye West. Nike offered him a billion his ass would switch back over quickly while kissing ass along the way. He left Nike over money in the first place so please dismiss me with that “It’s not about the money”
