According to Yeezy, there were recent talks to get a duet album put together with Drizzy.

“I’m going to go ahead and say it because maybe this will promote it happening, so I’m going to go ahead and put it out in the real world. The ‘Wolves’ song came from a conversation that me and Drake had where we was going to do an album together and the album was going to be called Wolves. Me and Jay [Z] started talking about Watch The Throne and then Drake went and did all the records with [Lil] Wayne – but I just put it out in the world. If y’all don’t like it then y’all can send it right back. [laughs] I asked him [about the album] and he said yeah we was going to do it and actually, he was sending beats back and forth – I got this one record with Young Thug that I’m probably going to put on Rihanna’s album. I know I’m giving away a lot of information today. … I don’t know, it might happen because I threw it out there. By the way, he’ll probably be mad that I’m mentioning this on y’all show since he dislikes y’all so much.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

Recently, Kanye and Drake appeared on a remix to Big Sean‘s “Blessings” song.

Big Sean season is fully underway. After announcing a new album ‘Dark Sky Paradise’ dropping next month, the G.O.O.D. Music leaks a fresh single titled ‘Blessings’ featuring OVO artist Drake. The track follows up his platinum single ‘IDFWU’ and was uploaded to Sean’s Youtube channel on Thursday night without much notice. Update: DJ Skee premieres a remix featuring Kanye West. A couple years ago, Drake dished on Kanye appearing at his OVO Fest concert.

“In rap, sometimes we don’t communicate enough,” Drake explained. “Me and Kanye, we hadn’t even talked before we got on stage together. We didn’t rehearse or anything like that. That was my first time seeing him, on stage. Hiw words, that was a moment I clicked out. I don’t know if this is real or not. I’m not sure if I’m still sleeping from the morning, like, I’m dreaming about how this is working out, probably the most important moment in my life today. At the end of the day, I do look up to ‘Ye, he’s a major influence if not the biggest influence in my career.” (Revolt)

During the concert, Ye applauded Drizzy for showing love to Toronto and also said his joint Jay Z Watch the Throne 2011 album was fueled by the rap heavyweight.

“It’s been a lot of rappers that came in the game that wasn’t able to do something like this for their city,” Kanye said during the concert. “Me and Hov would have never made Watch the Throne if this n*gga wasn’t putting pressure on us like that.” (OVO Fest)

  1. After all them corny ass subliminals from both camps. These WWF fuck niggas. Industry niggas r phony as fuck probably all friends outside rap too

    • I commented on this when Pusha T was on his fuck shit. His boss wants to work with Drake and Lil Wayne. Big Sean wants to. John Legend works with them. It was always just a Pusha T thing.

  2. Shit’s never gonna happen. Kanye hasn’t had a hot album in almost 10 years. Once all this buffoonery that’s kept him in the headlines passes, he’s going to be a near 40 year old rapper without much relevant shit to say except how rich he is. He just doesn’t know it yet but will when Drake stops taking his calls.
