Kanye made his way to the Grammy stage when rocker Beck won “Album of the Year” ahead of pals like Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Sam Smith.

Beck, who also won Best Rock Album, seemed as surprised as the rest of the audience when he won the award and appeared to be looking around for help. That’s when West popped up on stage and moved toward Beck as if he was about to take the trophy. Instead, West turned away and quickly jumped down, but not before getting laughs from Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z. (Fox News)

Kanye’s celebrity wife Kim Kardashian poked fun during the incident on Instagram.

This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!

Kanye briefly talked about Beck’s win after the Grammy Awards.

“I just know that the Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We ain’t gonna play with them no more. “Flawless,” Beyoncé video. And Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé and at this point, we tired of it. Because what happens is when you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you’re disrespectful to inspiration. And we as musicians have to inspire people who go to work every day. And they listen to that Beyoncé album and they feel like it takes them to another place. Then they do this whole promotional event, that, you know, they’ll run the music over somebody’s speech, the artist, because they want a commercial advertising.” (E! Online)

Mr. West also referenced Kim K and his daughter North West.

“Like no, we not playing with them no more. And by the way, I got my wife, I got my daughter, and I got my clothing line so I’m not going to do nothing to put my daughter at risk — but I am here to fight for creativity. That’s the reason why I didn’t say anything tonight. But y’all know what it meant when ‘Ye walked on the stage.” (E! Online)

  1. Some one has to speak up behind all the millions and anger and women cloths lies a unblind person that see whats going on…everyone prays for this this kind of take no prisoner voice and we have it with kanye….he’s not perfect and at times he is very into himself..us doing our music is not appreciated…until they do our music

    • Yo I feel you dog, but…nah I’m just kidding lol I agree. Kanye’s only problem is consistency. One minute he goes revolutionary, next minute he wants into the system.

    • sorry but kanye is no voice of the people he is the voice of himself, he’s a hypocrite too he rants against the same system he is apart of, revolutionaries don’t get with hoes like kim nor do they come out with shoes and other materialistic crap he’s just using that angle to get attention

      • Martin Luther king Malcolm X Ghandi were not with out sin….it takes a person with inside knowledge to expose deep secrets….Kanye wants to do things for himself this is true….but what some may over look is that if one can 2 can than 3 so on….so he represents hope and he dreams to break the molds in favor of making new….he refuse;s to be shackled…he has a huge ego…but most leaders do….ego and pride can be tools of the devils work…but what cant be denied is he worked hard for that and all that he has…Hes’s not the only fool to fall for a big butt and a smile come on man half the models/vixens in the game are jumps kim just owns her…no pass ..but give me a smart jump that has her own over one that has to flip chicks to get it..But yeah i will give you that…

      • Lastly things here are so bad that if we dont let kanye talk no one will
they might try but they wont be heard yeah kanye might be out for him
but at least he’s saying something no one else will speak up not j not
bey not dre not cube not fifty not ross not wayne not meek not french
common trys killer mike trys nas is a much bigger hypocrit than
kanye….nas tryed to lead and failed with respect given as a
reward….kanye didnt try to lead he was just a real nigga that got caught up
and the politics and decided to speak…thats hip hop …thats what the
best rappers do they speak for the minority they speak for the
hood….and looking at that room know what black contributed to musice
it needed to be said….Look at where they had LL he a legend and they
reduced him to a damn host…How can we make a song and it gets blocked
than they make the same song and its thought to be ground
breaking….maybe he didnt speak for you Maybe im the minority but the
are others and if you and your thought out number us that exactly where
kanye comes in as our voice…they want to keep kanye as a entertainer only and i say f it you got the mic and the people ear say whats on your heart f political correctness…we in a world where you get punish for being black and praised for being gay….moral are gone and cops got the green light….shit is depressing so we look for an escape turn on tv….all white …turn on the radio all white so we say let me change to a urban station and we get fucking iggy talking about the trap …Gun to my temple…

  2. Grammy’s are a celebration of robbery take take take then flaunt it their faces as something they thought of WOW

  3. the 1920’s had duke Ellington we have Kanye…times of the world have changed thus the players have changed Kanye is very important to our culture as a writer artist and musical genius….his only problem is that his music is louder than his voice…you cant deny hot beats but we can turn our heads to the truth spoken in his words….

  4. “Oh, remember to set aside a little more time for the ‘Kanye moment’ …..” ~ Grammys
