Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West knows G.O.O.D. music. The hip-hop veteran reportedly made fellow rap star Rick Ross rework his bars for their epic “Devil In A New Dress.”
In a new interview, Yung Renzel recalled the time Kanye felt the need for Ross to go to the drawing board for fresher lyrics.
“When I recorded that verse for the first time, he came in, heard it,” Ross recounted, “he told me he thought I could do better. And he walked out.” The MMG boss didn’t let that moment deter him from delivering something special. “And then I wrote another one, and the second verse I wrote is the one you hear on the album.” (Complex)
Recently, buzz developed about Ross landing a spot in Meet The Blacks 2.
Machete star Danny Trejo and rapper Rick Ross have signed on to join the comedy film The House Next Door, the sequel to Meet The Blacks, which has Mike Epps reprising his starring role as well as Deon Taylor returning to direct. Katt Williams (Friday After Next) also stars in the pic along with returnees Bresha Webb (Marlon), Zulay Henao (Fighting), social media star Andrew Bachelor (a.k.a King Batch), and comedians Lil Duval, Michael Blackson and Tyrin Turner. The project is currently shooting in Atlanta, Georgia. (Deadline)
Back in September, Ross jumped on social media to salute boxing icon Mike Tyson.
