Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West graces the cover of TIME’s new “100 Most Influential People” magazine and gives his stance toward humanity within the feature.

In Ye’s cover story, he gives an in-depth take on what social factors have contributed to humans’ greed and selfishness.

“I’m not in a competition with anyone,” he says in a video interview with TIME. “All these walls that keep us from loving each other as one family or one race–racism, religion, where we grew up, whatever, class, socioeconomic–what makes us be so selfish and prideful, what keeps us from wanting to help the next man, what makes us be so focused on a personal legacy as opposed to the entire legacy of a race,” West says. “The dinosaurs aren’t remembered for much more than their bones. When humanity’s gone, what do we give to this little planet that we’re on, and what could we do collectively, removing the pride?” (TIME)

Reports this week claimed Kanye West and celebrity wife Kim Kardashian were traveling to Jerusalem for a “private two-day” visit.

Kim Kardashian, along with husband West, their daughter, North West, and her sister, Khloe, arrived in a private jet at Israel’s international airport before being whisked away in a dark black SUV to a hotel in Jerusalem. All were captured on camera disembarking their plane and the images featured prominently on Israeli websites. The Kardashian entourage arrived from a high-profile visit to Armenia, where the Kardashian family traces its roots. (Fox News)

Footage of Kanye treating fans to a free concert in Armenia surfaced Sunday (April 12).

Kanye’s been over there with Kim Kardashian all week as she taps into her Armenian roots — and shoots scenes for ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’. He performed six songs: “Stronger,” “Jesus Walks,” “Power,” “Touch the Sky,” “All of the Lights and “Good Life.” West’s lake dive ended the show — he crowd went bonkers and cops had to shut everything down — but you know it’ll be great promo footage for the reality show.
