Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West and daughter North West have all paid a visit to ex-NBA star Lamar Odom following a publicized hospitalization last month.
According to reports, the Wests went out to see Odom last weekend.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West brought daughter Nori along for a 3 hour visit with ailing Lamar Odom.
Sources tell us the West fam piled into the family Range Rover and headed to Cedars-Sinai hospital on Sunday. It was the first time Kanye’s seen Lamar since he nearly died just over a month ago — and we’re told doctors hoped Yeezy’s presence might help jog LO’s memory. (TMZ)
Lamar’s ex-wife Khloé Kardashian thanked supporters for their prayers throughout the medical scare last month.
Some reports claimed Khloé would remain by Lamar’s side through his recovery.
Doctors are telling Lamar’s friends and family rehabilitation will take many months, and they believe an undetermined amount of damage to his body will be permanent. We’re told Lamar will have physical, speech, and other therapists working with him for the foreseeable future. As for Khloe, our sources say she has vowed to stay with him through the entire ordeal … and that includes all therapy. (TMZ)
Odom’s former NBA teammate Metta World Peace recently spoke out on his situation.
“This is nothing against Khloe. This is for the celebrities that are coming to see Lamar. They should know they’re taking away from Lamar’s children. … The only Kardashian that needs to be there is Khloe. Not every Kardashian needs to be around. They need to keep it simple, so Lamar’s children can see him whenever they want to see him. They’re waiting in line to see their own father.” (LA Daily News)
