According to reports, KimYe will likely enjoy some time as newlyweds once they officially tie the knot.
Planning perhaps the most anticipated wedding of the year, nearly 6,000 miles away from their home in Los Angeles no less, certainly isn’t a walk in the park – and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are looking forward to a little down time after the festivities. “They’re planning on taking some time off for sure,” says a source close to the couple. “They’re used to busy schedules but they want to have some downtime as newlyweds – and together as a family.” (People)

Kim Kardashian put on a white dress this afternoon in Beverly Hills, but it wasn’t to marry Kanye West … it was just for her bridal shower. As TMZ first reported, the only thing holding up the Kimye wedding now is the prenup. According to our sources, the pair should sign on the dotted line this week, opening the door for the wedding … which we’re told would take place around Memorial Day. (TMZ)
Instead of speaking via a publicist or to a news outlet, Kim K relied on Twitter to address various wedding rumors last week.
“Seeing so many different reports not gonna start disputing them all but a few I want to straighten out…,” KK tweeted May 7.
“1. We are not married yet!”
“2. We are not filming our wedding for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. You will see everything leading up til & maybe even photos”
“As much as we would love to share these memories, privacy is our main priority.”
“3. No guest list has been released. Seeing fake ones. Especially not 1600 people invited like I just read. Its VERY small & intimate”
“4. Seeing fake wedding dress pics of me. No one has seen my dress! Those photos are old or photo shopped.”

Prior to those remarks, KK also denied having West’s last name attached to hers just yet.
After being asked by Vogue whether she should be called Mrs. West or Kim, Kardashian responded, “Still Kim, Mrs. West soon!” Kardashian, 33, added that she has tried on “quite a few wedding dresses” and has “narrowed it down” to at least a few or maybe one. “You’ll see, you’ll see,” she said.
