Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West didn’t just happen to land on June 8 to release his new joint album. Yeezus’ highly-anticipated Kid Cudi collaborative effort’s drop date happens to fall on a major day.

Barring any changes, Ye will celebrate both the LP’s release date and his birthday when their duet project arrives.

Def Jam megastar Kanye West took to Twitter to reveal that his album is seven songs. It also appears that the set is expected to drop on 6/1. And it looks like a second album, apparently a collaboration Kid Cudi, will be released under the name Kids See Ghost the very next week (6/8), West’s 41st birthday. It’s worth noting that 2016’s The Life of Pablo has racked up 1.3m, according to our calculations, though its initial reporting weeks were chaotic, to say the least. (HITS Daily Double)

Yesterday, Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian hyped up the new album’s content.

A couple days ago, Kanye made a grip of announcements including new release dates for G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T and Teyana Taylor.

Hours prior, Kanye revealed plans to drop two new projects in early June.
