Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West won’t let go of his dream to run the country in five years and teased fans about his candidacy during an iHeartRadio Music Festival show last night (September 18) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Performing endless hits ranging from “Power” to “All Day,” Yeezy teased MGM Grand Garden Arena concertgoers about his 2020 bid.

He wrapped up the 30-plus-minute set by taking the emotional ride full-circle with “Only One.” But it wasn’t all seriousness for the touching song about his mom and his daughter: He managed to slip in a mention of his presidential run in the lyrics. “You’ll be the man you always knew you could be — 2020,” he sang to huge cheers. Recently, presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton weighed in on Kanye possibly running for head of state in 2020.

Hillary Clinton has some advice for Kanye West if he runs for President: Wear sensible shoes. “Well, if I’m going for my second term, to wait four years, but if I’m not … be sure he has comfortable shoes because there’s a lot of walking involved,” she said during an interview with Extra when asked what advice she had for the hip-hop star. Earlier this month, Mrs. Clinton’s daughter Chelsea expressed her support and gratitude for Yeezy bringing attention to the presidency during his MTV Video Music Awards appearance last month.

“I definitely think who runs for office is really important,” Chelsea Clinton explained. “Even if him just saying that helps spark a little boy or a little girl who was watching the VMAs to think, ‘Oh, wow! Maybe I should do that,’ that’s awesome.” (MTV)

Recently, presidential hopeful Donald Trump weighed-in on Kanye’s candidacy announcement.

“He’s said very nice things about me in the past… extremely positive things – I was actually watching, I saw him [announce his candidacy on the VMAs], and I said, ‘That’s very interesting. I wonder who gave him that idea?’ … He’s actually a different kind of person than people think. He’s a nice guy. I hope to run against him someday.” (Rolling Stone)
