Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West is close to giving the rap game what it needs. The hip-hop superstar has announced plans to potentially put out a long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s The Throne.
Yeezy went to Twitter last night (September 8) to promise a Throne 2 would soon arrive.

Back in April, The Throne’s JAY-Z updated fans on his relationship toward Kanye.
“That’s my brother, we’re beyond friends. Really, like literally, my little brother is Kanye. And like your little brother, things happen sometimes – I’ve watched Kanye from without an album. The thing that I respect about him is that he’s the same person. Like, he interrupted our studio session, stood on a table and started rapping. And we were like, ‘Could you ‘please’ get down,’ and he was like ‘No, I’m the savior of Chicago!’ He didn’t have a record.” (“My Next Guest Needs No Introduction”)
In early December 2017, JAY publicly saluted Kanye during a live concert performance.

Months ago, Roc Nation’s Vic Mensa shared his take on Ye and JAY’s relationship briefly turning ugly.
“Nobody likes it. I don’t think they like it. That’s the delicate thing about male ego. Relationships go through that, all relationships. Male, female, ego-driven or not, relationships go through strain. The real, real relationships live past it as I believe Kanye and Hov’s relationship 100 percent has and will. I’m not speaking from a place of even knowing that much about the situation. I think they’re all good though. But together and separately, those guys just, they really laid the framework, the groundwork for a lot of us to exist.” (Montreality)
