Los Angeles Lakers’ Nick Young recently credited hip-hop superstar Kanye West for helping motivate his team to beat the Golden State Warriors last weekend.
In a recent pre-game interview, Young revealed he would listen to some Yeezy before taking on the Warriors earlier in the season.
“We’re just gonna listen to some ‘Facts.’ Kanye West. … He jumped over ‘Jumpman.'” Of course, throwing T.L.O.P. on a pair of headphones (followed by a throwback jam from Weezy, B.G. and Juvenile) probably isn’t enough to take down the Warriors, who entered the game with only five losses all year. Young actually had to do stuff on the court, and, well, he wound up making more threes in the fourth quarter than Steph Curry and Klay Thompson combined for in the entire game. (Fox Sports)

Back in January, Young shared his thoughts on Yeezy possibly running for president in 2020.
“I’m more of a people’s person and I think you need that balance. He’s the aggressor, more like the talker, the more serious type [of] person. It’s like a good cop, bad cop [situation]. I could be the good cop.” (Billboard)
G.O.O.D. Music producer Malik Yusef recently confirmed Kanye’s plans to run for the presidency in 2020.
Asked whether Kanye West still plans on running for president in 2020, Yusef said “the last time I talked to him” he said he would. “He would run as a democrat or possibly as an independent,” Yusef said, adding “I’d run against him.” (CNN)
G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Rhymefest talked to SOHH about Ye’s candidacy plans in October.
“There’s a lot of different facets of politics. If you want to know where I stand as far as Kanye West running for president, then I think it’s a lot more difficult than my brother understands. I would hope that he would be serious and it would be a party of ‘we’ and not a party of ‘me.’ I would hope that it would be for all of the people and not just what he’s upset about at the time.” (SOHH)
Is he seriously wearing an N’Sync T-Shirt????
