According to reports, Kanye and fiancée Kim Kardashian‘s high-profile wedding will go down without any interruption.
It’s said to be the wedding of the year and Kim Kardashian, 33, and Kanye West, 36, are leaving nothing to chance. Sources claim non-uniformed Italian militia have been drafted in to assist the pair’s personal security team and will surround Florence’s 16th century Belvedere fort ahead of the big day on Saturday. It’s little wonder that extra resources have been called upon, as despite claiming the wedding will be an ‘intimate’ affair, the couple have reportedly invited 3000 guests to celebrate with them. Us Weekly can confirm that Beyonce’s husband will be among the guests at West and Kardashian’s international wedding weekend, which includes a rehearsal dinner in Paris, France, and a formal ceremony in Florence, Italy, among other events. (Beyonce herself is still just a “maybe.”) There, he’ll rub elbows with the likes of model Teigen and hubby John Legend, tennis pro Williams, basketball stars Scottie Pippen and Carmelo Anthony (attending with their wives, Kardashian BFFs Larsa Pippen and La La Anthony), and famed jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. KimYe’s highly-anticipated wedding date was confirmed for May 24 in Italy last week.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will marry in Florence, Italy, on May 24. The power couple will tie the knot in the 16th century Belvedere Fort, a spokeswoman at the Florence mayor’s office told the Associated Press. The couple rented the fort, located next to Florence’s famed Boboli Gardens, for €300,000 ($410,000), said Elisa Di Lupo, and a Protestant minister will preside over the ceremony. Heading into last weekend, Mr. West revealed their daughter may have been conceived in Italy.
