Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West and Candace Owens have doubled up and responded to the world. The overnight social media pals have responded to the backlash and mixed emotions shot their way after publicly admiring each other’s work this past weekend.

Yeezy took to Twitter and relied on a slew of videos to possibly explain his support for the conservative news personality.

Owens went more direct with her response by singling out New York radio station Hot 97.

Early Monday, Hot 97’s Ebro Darden revealed a personal convo he had with Yeezy over the weekend following his Owens co-sign.

“Then he went on to talk about demonization. He feels like he’s been demonized and how as a society we demonize individuals who are trying to speak out and challenge original thoughts. We demonize them for trying to think different when really they’re just trying to continue to make progress.
