Kanye West has reportedly been missing for several weeks. The Yeezy mogul has dominated news headlines for months, and his mysterious disappearance adds to the online buzz he’s made since last year.

Rapper Kanye West has been reportedly missing for a couple of weeks, according to a Jewish News Syndicate report. According to reports, it could be connected to a lawsuit from his former business manager,  Thomas St. John, of $4.5 million for allegedly not paying him for his services.

Events Leading Up To Ye’s Disappearance:

December 2022

In December, Kanye released a song that contained a sample from the 1973 song, “Someday We’ll All Be Free” by late singer Donny Hathaway. This was Kanye’s first song released after dropping Donda 2 last March.

November 2022

In the aftermath of his tweet,  labeled anti-semitic, Ye lost his billionaire status, and fans created a GoFundMe to help him regain his status. Kanye was also hit with a copyright lawsuit over the sample of his song with Outkast rapper Andre 3000.

Later in the month, Kanye also confirmed that he is running for president in 2024 and possibly hinted at former president Donald Trump as his running mate.

October 2022

Kanye sent out a tweet in October in which he said he was going to go “death con 3 on jewish people.” He also hinted at a presidential run by posting a “2024” hat.

Kanye also shocked fans by debuting a “White Lives Matter” shirt at his Yeezy season 9 show in Paris. Kanye would later get dropped by companies such as Balenciaga, Gap, and Adidas for his comments that were labeled anti-semitic.

He also saw two marquee clients depart from his sports agency, Donda Sports. His Los Angeles school, Donda Academy, would briefly shut down due to controversy around his comments. In a discussion with media members after one of his kids’ basketball games, Kanye called people such as Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel out for supporting businesses cutting ties with him.

In addition, Kanye also compared himself to Emmett Till, who was brutally murdered in 1955 after allegedly whistling at a white woman.

Kanye West Gets Sued By George Floyd’s Family After Comments About Recent Tragedy

In October 2022, the family of George Floyd filed a lawsuit against Kanye West for saying that Floyd didn’t die due to former police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on his neck, but due to fentanyl in his system. The lawyers for the Floyd family claimed he was using Floyd’s death for benefit.
