[SOHH highlights a hot record every week and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the smash in Singled Out. After Mass Appeal’s Fashawn broke down his "Guess Who’s Back” anthem, Interscope Records’ K Camp decodes his "Lil Bit” music video.]
The “Lil Bit” music video came together with management coming to me with these different ideas and when they brought the Uber one to me, that was the only one that really stood out.
It was so new and fresh. I remember when we did that sh*t, we had the b*tches in the back and shaking a**. I’m all for that sh*t.
I loved that and knew we had to do that.
The video was long but it was fun. We had a good time shooting that and it came out a lot better than I thought it would be.
We had to make sure the video was at least funny. It couldn’t just be the Uber car. I had to make sure there was some comedy to it and enjoyable. It couldn’t be too d*mn serious.
People take things too d*mn serious.
For my account, I should be five stars as much as I use Uber. Uber is my best friend.
When I don’t feel like picking anybody up, you have Uber.
