Less than 48 hours after the shocking murder of Coke Boys rapper Chinx, reports claim law enforcement is on the prowl for a vehicle connected to the case.
According to reports, New York cops are looking for a blue vehicle and are investigating the nightclub Chinx performed at Sunday (May 17).
Detectives were searching for the vehicle — described to them by a witness — to determine if it was the same car that carried the gunman, the sources said.
Cops did not reveal a motive or any suspects in the early Sunday shooting on Queens Boulevard near Main Street in Jamaica. Investigators are focusing on the Red Wolf nightclub in Brooklyn, where the rapper had performed less than an hour earlier to see if he got into any fights before leaving, the sources said. (NY Post)
This week, Chinx’s wife Janelli Caceres came forward to speak on the case.
“He was not the kind of person who got involved in trouble. That just wasn’t him,” she said. “He spent as much time with his kids as possible, outside work. His life was his family and his music. … I don’t have anything to say to anyone who is responsible. There is never a good enough reason to do something like this.” (NY Daily News)

According to reports, gunfire, which wounded an unnamed victim, killed Chinx around 4 AM EST Sunday (May 17).
The victim, shot multiple times in the torso, has been identified as 31-year old Lionel Pickens of Ozone Park. Police say the victims were driving a Porsche westbound on Queens Blvd when a second vehicle pulled up to them at 84th Road, where a gunman from the second vehicle fired multiple rounds inside the first car, striking the driver and the other person.
