The relationship with me and DJ Khaled started with me recording a song and him agreeing to hear it. He ended up doing the remix to the song and then we met up in the studio in New York and he was like, “I want to make songs for you the way I see them.” So I was like, “Please, go ahead.” That’s how he came together with “Bad Girl Take Over” and we just went forward from there.

I think we already have about ten records. Of course people can look forward to more coming. We have a great professional relationship and friendship as well.

He listened to my music right away and he said, “I want to work with you. I want to do more.” We get along so well and he gets me. We make such a good [duo] and I don’t think he makes a lot of records for female artists so this is a new experience for him as well. He told me he wants to grow and go to different levels as well.

He wants to go into different directions and so do I. Our relationship is growing in a very positive way. I’m very excited because we have a lot of new things coming up and working with him is amazing. He has been producing most of the records I’ve done and it’s incredible to just be a part of that.

Now I just have to work really hard and not let him down. I want to make him proud and happy.
