“Empire” star Jussie Smollett is back on his acting grind. A week after his horrific Chicago attack, reports claim the singer is working again.
According to reports, Jussie has returned to Chi-Town and has law enforcement eager to talk to him – again.
A production source tells us Smollett flew back into the Windy City Sunday, after his weekend show in Los Angeles. We’re told Smollett shot scenes for one of the final episodes of the season Monday and did a table read with the cast Tuesday … security was present the entire time. Law enforcement sources tell us cops want to speak with Jussie while he’s in town as part of their ongoing investigation. (TMZ)
Last week, Jussie’s sister publicly spoke out and released a family statement on his attack.
During a recent press conference, President Donald Trump called the assault nothing less than horrible.
On Thursday, the President of the United States was asked about the homophobic, racist attack against Smollett by a reporter in the Oval Office. “That, I can tell you, is horrible,” Trump said. “I’ve seen it, last night. I think that’s horrible. It doesn’t get worse as far as I’m concerned.” (E! News)
Last week, comedian Mike Epps invited Jussie’s attackers to run up on him next month.
