New York rapper Juelz Santana finally ended his run from law enforcement. The hip-hop veteran reportedly found himself in handcuffs Monday (March 12) on a gun possession charge.
According to reports, police arrested Santana today on multiple criminal charges.
Rapper Juelz Santana belatedly realized he can run but he can’t hide, because he surrendered to cops after fleeing from Newark International Airport Friday when TSA security found a gun in his carry-on. Santana was arrested at 1 AM Monday by Port Authority Newark Airport police and booked for unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was also booked on an unspecified federal warrant. (TMZ)
This past weekend, a report claimed Santana would turn himself over to cops on Sunday.
Rapper Juelz Santana is planning to turn himself in Sunday after fleeing Newark Airport on Friday when TSA agents found a gun on him at security, according to police. Police from Totowa, New Jersey said they were told the rapper will be turning himself in Sunday morning. He will surrender around 9 a.m., according to a report from the South Passaic Daily Voice. On Friday, a report went viral claiming Santana took off from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey after getting caught with a gun.
Rapper and actor Juelz Santana allegedly ran away from a security screening at Newark Liberty International Airport Friday evening after law enforcement sources said TSA agents found a gun on him. Santana, whose real name is LaRon Louis James, was going through the screening at Terminal C about 6 p.m. when sources said agents discovered the firearm. (NBC 3 New York)
