The film, which was controversially snubbed for several awards at the 87th Academy Wards, tells the tale of Martin Luther King Jr.’s Selma march. Legend and Common honored that by performing the Best Original Song nominee “Glory.” Midway through, the duo brought out some of of marchers with a bridge in the background. It was a very touching moment that brought several of the actors in attendance to tears. (Cleveland)
